Summary: Also known as The Memory of After, Level 2 is an extremely interesting book. The whole concept of the level between life and death is an interesting subject matter, after all. 

To be honest, this was a bit of a slower book for me. It took me a little while to get going, but when I got going, oh boy, it was great. I think it had to do with the fact that there's a lot going on, which meant more information to process. I say all that in the best way possible, because this book is a book that really picks up as you go along.

The way Level 2 is written is unique because there's a whole system within the system. It's all really cool. I liked how I was reading about past memories as well as the actions and liveliness of the present. 

Felicia offers a very intriguing perspective. We barely know her in the present time as we delve further into her mind in order to discover more about her past and her future. Looking through her memories, we learn more about her and the people around her. Her best friend is introduced and we see a lot of Neil, the boy that Felicia loved back when she was alive. And then, there's Julian, the other boy, the one that is seemingly untrustworthy, dangerous, and swoon-worthy... all at the same time.

There's a lot of action and drama. There's even a bit of humor. It's all very lovely and suspenseful and awesome. What really made it great for me is that I was able to feel what Felicia was feeling as she goes through everything. It was tough reading certain parts of the book, but it was necessary and revealing.

Level 2 is a bit of an odder book for me, but I found that I really liked this one. I was surprised by how it went from low-impact to heavy-about-to-explode-impact. It was a wonderful surprise and I'm glad I kept going even when it was a bit slower. This book is really eye-opening. There's so much going on, and as I got further into it, more and more made sense. All I've got to say now is that this book really makes one wonder about how much one person, one action, and one decision can change a life... or more.
